White Plains Mayor Thomas Roach will join Walter's staff and family owners for a 2:30 p.m ceremony at 186 Mamaroneck Ave.
Walter’s White Plains is the franchise's first sit-down, fast-casual concept, bringing nostalgic pieces of its famous copper-roofed pagoda in Mamaroneck to downtown White Plains.
Walter’s is a fourth-generation, family owned and operated, business that originated in 1919, and has recently expanded with two food trucks in 2015 and 2016, a location in Stamford, CT in 2017, and now its newest location in White Plains.
Key menu items include:
- Puffy Dog – Single hot dog topped with two smashed, grilled Potato Puffs
- Funnel Cake Sticks – Topped with powdered sugar
- Single – our Classic hot dog. Get it with Walter’s Mustard!
- Italian Ice Float – Homemade Italian Ice, flavors rotate
Its hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. until midnight. Also, on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
